Mustang Extreme
My wifes brother is a manager for a ford dealer in my area. Yesterday we had a talk about the new mustang extreme that he received at the dealership wednesday. He's telling me that with street tires it runs in the high 11's and with racing tires it should run in the high 10's. it has 500 HP. Do you feel that he is telling me the truth, and if so, will the GT500 thats coming out next year run with this car. Whats your thoughts. also im not a sales person, but if anyone want's to call him' his dealership carries the saleen extreme and can order the GT500. Let me know and i will give you his name and dealership phone number.

Im pretty sure hes talking about the Mustang Saleen E edition where the E stands to Extreme. Its supposed to have 500 or 500+ horses. Sounds legit to me. I just didnt think Saleen made the new ones yet.

The supercharged Saleen is out now (there are 3 on eBay), perhaps that's what they got in and they confused it for the Extreme. Most car salesmen have enough trouble telling a GT from a V6 anyway. A lot of them have trouble telling a Taurus from a Mustang 
I went to one dealership and was looking at 05's, but they were all coupes. I asked the
(extremely young) salesman if they had any 05 verts. He took me to several 04 Cobra verts! I played stupid and asked him if they were 05's, he said "Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are" LOL!
