Default mpg question ????

So im running the mods listed below and im using 91oc with my tune andI average about 12-13mpg. is this too low? also, my speedo tells me how many milesI have untill empty starting at 50 miles till empty.I drive about 2 miles to the grocery store and in that2 mile my car uses 5-6 miles of gas (according to the speedo). Im confused on how this is?

Do you rely on the computer or do you make "real" calculations. Those numbers seem ridiculously low. I work downtown in a metropolitan area but live a ways out. My mixed driving gets me 22 religously with a 93 tune.

what could be causing this low milage? i've never ever had anything above 18mpg even on the highway.I dont even floor it that much or drive long distances. I fill up twice a week at 100 bucks total. im not leaking fuel. whats the deal?

You may want to recheck your tune. You should be getting a lot better mpg than that. You should average 15 - 18 city and 24 - 26 highway even doing 70. Also make sure there is nothing loose on the intake.

Do you leave your garage unlocked and does you neighbor boast about great mileage?

I agree. Recheck you tune.

I had someone do my tune, they recently shut down andI dont trust myself using the tuner. Is it easy? what would i change to make the mpg higher? but sometimes my neighbors breath smells like fuel and my garden hose is always being moved. [&:]

Just now noticed the gears. (Even though I thought I looked before.) It's hard to believe that makes that big a difference though.

And if your tuner is out of business?

Might be a flag.
