Hello,

Its been 2 months since i took my car for 20,000kms. Yesterday i notice a weird sound on one of the wheels, when i get home i start reviewing each tire and found that the right front tire its missing the lock nut. I dont know the reason its missing, the only thing im thinking is that the agency left it loose so it fell.

Now im listening a sound mostly when i turn to the left is like a "click" but its not constant its just a cycle click.
Does anyone know if missing the nut lock can cause this sound or what else can i check in the tire to see why is that sound ?

First of all, make sure all the remaining nuts are tight (on all the wheels). I now check all mechanics work after my former mechanic left the front wheels loose. ( I was really happy about that one. ) Wiggle the tire and if it moves at all, you could have a bad bearing. Either way noises from the wheel could be deadly, so take it to a qualified mechanic and have it checked.

I checked all the remaining nuts on all wheels and found another one loose. So i tightened perfectly. Im still missing the lock nut and as i know each nut has its specific lock so i will need to buy another lock with it each nuts.

I did wiggle the tire but its ok the tire has the remaining 4 nuts tightened.

I just went down to the lot park and noticed that this sounds is just when the car is hot, i just started it and drive it a little, make some turns but cant listen anything. After the car warm up the sound start again.


Any ideas?
