Throttle body plug removal question

Throttle body plug removal question
I am removing my throttle body for paint. Looking at your engine from the front at the throttle body there is a plug that I cannot get off. It has a red tab that I assume you pull back, then you should pull and unplug. Well I been wiggling and pulling to no avail. Am I doing the right thing, or is there a secret to it? It is attached to a plate that is on the throttle body connected by about 6-8 torx screws.

they some times get together and want to stay. you need to pull out the tab and then pull it off. you are doing it right just keep trying but try not to break. a small screw driver may help but dont force it just use it to assist

Yeah you have to pull that red tab out. It covers another tab that you have to depress and then pull it out.
