love that Saleen diffuser, and yeah, unfortunately you need that saleen bumper...

ReaperGT, nope, havent seen any functional diffusers for the S197 except for the vortech, but i believe that was a one-off vortech piece made specifically for the top speed run.

I loved the way the Street scene looked until I saw it in person. Maybe it was just the way it was installed but the few that I have seen have huge gaps in places between the diffuser and the GT bumper. I talked to the owners of the cars and they all said that their body shop guy offered to mold it into the bumper but the labor costs were prohibitive. They opted to just have it painted to see how it would look. I personally do not think it is worth putting it on unless the gaps can be eliminated somehow.

Hey ReaperGT, you ever figure out where that rear diffuser on the black "interceptor" S197 is from?

Yeah I did, It is made by mrt, they are a mustang place out here in Michigan. I stopped by there a week or two ago and talked with the owner. They are all great people there and they do some really awesome things for mustangs. Im not sure if they sell that part individually but you can always try and contact them. Its from the MRT Interceptor

Here's one i've seen discussed in other forums. Not sure if it's functional or purely cosmetic. The posts I've read stated it was a great fit and good quality for the price??? Good Luck:

$90 is way too steep for that tiny *** piece that fits into the GT space back there..IMO

Plus the OP would need a GT bumper, as this piece is for GT only.

..better off with the GT/CS
