Had issues with peeling so I just ordered the "script" throw back mustang emblem for the rear

You can lightly sand down those raised letters to make it flush...i can't decide either. MUSTANG...the running horse or custom saying something like yours Nighthawk...i don't know if my car is up to those specs yet..lol. It is only a 08 GT stock except for 15% tint. But I have to watch out what I do bcs it will break my warranty.

got mine from vinz decals, they are a google store, cost was $10 + $5 shipping, just select mustang 05+ and what you want it to say, very cheap mod and looks good too. but i did cut out a piece at the bottom so it wouldnt go over those raised ford letterings.

yeah and if you dont want the lettering to show...just file it down a little bit, thats what i did and it looks much better
