After Installing exhaust....?
the clamps they give you suck *** and i don't think they form a complete seal. i had a shop install real clamps professionally
like 7 bucks for both. tight seal. changed the sound a little, sounds less airy.

Yes. When i installed my slp's i felt a loss of torque. I installed stingers a few months later and i felt that torque come back. I think your probably feeling the same thing.
I didn't notice any loss in performance over stock and I used the clamps it came with. I also don't hear any obvious leaks.
In any case if you still have a catted midpipe isn't that what's going to give you the backpressure anyway and not the muffler?
