Default Driver Side Turn Signal

So I'm getting a lunch time snack yesterday afternoon for work and as I pull up the storeI noticein the reflection of the stores window (Idrive with my lights on sometimes)that my driver side turnsignal is....well a little off so upon further inspection I find its actually inside the bumper hanging[:'(]I tried to put it back into place last night and thought I did til I got to work this morning and find it in the same damn place...I'm pretty sure its not gonna be able to go back into the slots where the original turnsignals were, it just doesnt keep it in place anymore...This is annoying when something on your car isnt right, what should I do? I've been thinkin of just throwing some typ e of adhesive onit to keep it in place but, IDK[]

Any suggestions?

You have aftermarket clears?
Is it the whole turn signal assembly
or just the bulb itself?

the lamp attaches to the bumper with a bracket that has2 arrow shaped retainers on the outer side of the lamp and the lamp slides into a slot on the inner side, if the outer retainers are broke then the lamp won't stay put, ford part# 5R3Z 17C861 AB is the left side bracket and it retails for $11.13

Its the assembly, The slot that holds in the lamp doesnt hold it in anymore and any little bump in the road will knock the whole light out of place, its getting frustrating, is there anything I can use to keep it in place? There was a parking stop and I had failed to see it and as i was backing up it got hold of the bumper, thanfully nothing happened to my bumper but it managed to pop the turnsignals out, ever since then I've had issues with them...The passenger side is fine tho

Its not the retainers, they're still intact and holding it in, its the other side of the lamp, theres like a tab that goes into a slot, thats the part thats not holding it in[:@]

When I hit a cone on the freeway it broke my tab out too. I fabbed up a bracket to hold it in. I'll try to get some pictures if you need them when I get home.

That tab is attached to the bumper also. Thats why I did the bracket.

They are hard to get in, you have to start by pushing the 1/2inch tab into the slot (nearest the grill)then pop it intothe 2 arrow shaped retainers (nearest the wheel). It takes a little muscle and you will have to get your wheel well shieldout of the way by unscrewing it from the side of the bumper.
