well im thinking about getting vinyl stripes for my windveil blue 07 and i was wondering would my paint underneath the stripes fade?

i found out my uncle (he owns a sign company) can get me the stripes almost free

 

Dunno 'bout the paint, I haven't heard of that happening though. However, if you have harsh weather where you live,I'd think about painted stripes. JMO, but the vinyl will fade and probably peel over time. Of course, painted one are expensive, but I figure they're worth the money.

 

The paint under won't fade. The un-covered paint will though.
