Default LT's worth it?

Okay guys... i know most say LT's are good for close to 20rwhp for n/a car. I also have read that half of that gain is from the off road mid pipe. If this is true, im probably going to pass on the headers. I have already bought jba lt's and o/r h, but im gettin 2nd thoughts about it. Im satisfied with the way the car sounds, so im not too worried about puttin them on for sound. What do you guys think? Worth it?

If you hadn't already purchased them I'd say it's really up to you.

You have them in your possession, put them on before I break into your house and steal them from you [8D]

I'm going to get them if anything for the boost in volume. I have a completely stock exhaust except for the axle back and while it's louder it's not quite loud enough for me. But I will be sticking with a catted h-pipe. I don't want crazy insane loud.

It does seem quite expensive for a minimal performance boost but I dunno... I still want them.

Can I use LT's with the rest stock for some HP gains? I like the "quiet" stock sound.

i love my longtubes...i got them about 3 years back. full jba exhaust and 3.73's at the same timeand it netted around 30whp with dyno tune and the acceleration was much better. i would recommend them if you have the money for it

You will probably gain some HP I wouldnt say anywhere close to 20. I am full bolt on and noticed a nice seat of the pants difference with the ARH and o/r h pipe I added, Most n/a cars arent going to get 20 peak HP to the wheels in gains though. 10-15 is more like it. If you get a dyno tune over the email tune from Bama or Brenspeed you might see 5 or so more though

no, not until you dabble around towards the O2 sensor area
