Ok, finally took my car to the Ford house since the check engine light came back on, and the car went back into limp-home mode. The only had the car for like 3 hours before I got a call back saying it was fixed. They told me there was a recall on some of the 05+ TB's. Hell, i'm glad it got fixed, but was anyone else affected by this? I know someone here said theirs was cracked...

I haven't, but I know someone who had to have his replaced. He had 37,000 miles on the odo, so he had to pay $1200 for a new one. I guess his wasn't on the recall list. I think it's an 06.

Mine still has a month of factory warranty and a 4 year/50k extended so i'm covered [8D]

Yeah, when I saw him, he said, "How much did you have to pay to get that injector and coil pack replaced?" [That was last month when I had 38K on my car.] I said, "$340", and he said, "Well, I got you beat."

Yeah, $1200 surprised me. I'm not that much of a mechanic, so I thought it was just a hunk of metal. According to my friend, it has electronics. They must be very expensive electronics!

Yea the TPS is built into and some other sensor. Eff that!

What was yours doing? Did your car go into limp-home mode?

yeah it did it a few times, i read on my tuner that it was the throttle body so i just took it in a week or so later, im prob retarded for it but o well! It normally did it soon after i started up my car. But it was replaced under warrenty, i dont remember if they said it was a recal or not.
