Window Tint Problems 05 and Up ? ?
Question -
Both my father and I have 05 GT's......We had them tinted identically and now both of us have some minor scratches on the inside of the window perfectly verticle like when the window goes down, theres a rub on the inside -
Anybody else and how to fix ? ?

I posted this on another website. I have since had them tinted and he installed the felt without any problem.
I am about to get mine tinted and while doing some research on a Window Tinters board, they were telling each other they needed to use felt on the new Mustangs. Of course one guy told the customer to take it back to Ford for felt... There are a couple threads.... scroll down and look for 2005 Mustang....

What exactly is causing the scratches? Is it the rubber stripping itself? Or something below that?
I just got my windows tinted the other day and accidently lowered them before the given wait time and no noticeable marks were made. Maybe when it gets used a bite more it will start. I'm hoping I won't have this problem, but I may have to find some felt myself.
