Default Decision time....

I've decided that I want to do some more to my car. I was thinking about getting either 4.10s or an aluminum drive shaft. Currently, I've got the stock 17" tires. Would I be able to get any traction with 4.10s and those tires (in first)? Should I just get the drive shaft now and wait until I've got some wider/stickier tires to get the gears? Should I just say f it and get both the gears and drive shaft along with some new rims/tires (I wish this were an option!)?

I put 4.10's in my auto earlier this month andI also have the 17's with Pirellis.
I think you will feel more performance from the gears first. As I DD I see no reasone for the drivshaft, it seems to mostly save weight. I need to slim down anyways.
