NOT the fastest 2005 GT (Auto)
I went to the strip Saturday and the very first pass in Drive was a 13.52 @ 101.8. Backed it up with a couple more .51's and .52's. Had 60 ft times of 1.97 best. Then on my last pass I figured out how to shift it on time myself and beat an LS1 Camaro with a 13.41 @ 103.39 to his 13.46 @ 103.94. I did red light but I still beat him on time. This is with only 1100 miles on the engine. I met a guy there that helped build and dyno the second place winner at the MM&FF's Cobra shoot out. The car was at the track with me and I ran up against him one round. The cobra went 10.40's on the motor and in the 9's with NOS. Anyway, the guy is going to dyno my car and says he has a CAI that will beat my Steeda by 8 Hp. He just Dyno'd an 05 Stick at 310 RWHP with delete plates and all of my mods. I figure if all I did was put another 9000 miles on my new motor I would be close if not in the 12's like it is. Oh and by the way my 13.41 was without the UD's... I haven't put them back on after the new motor install. Let me know what you think

Not exactly sure what you want us to let you know on....there wasn't really any questions there. I would be curious as to what CAI he has that is giving 8 more ponies.
Nice solid times though. And very consistant too!

Sounds like the CAI he is pushing might be the JLT ( maybe? ). I am still not completely convenced that the horsepower is worthy of the tradeoff of not being able to pass state inspection. Thus, holding off on the long tubes, or any other exhaust component that will change the emmissions.

td... Since you really don't have any major hp mods on yet, it seems to me that the 4.10s really help a lot... maybe worth 3 - 4 tenths? What do you think?

Let us know about the dyno with the Macs. I would be very interested in buying long tubes if they are reasonably priced. No State inspection in Florida
