Hey guys, i was wondering if you guys can help me out. This is my first post here but i have been a reader on this forum for a very long time. I recently 2 months ago got a 08 mustang gt (standard) all black, with the shaker hood, and have started making some modifications to it. Sorry, on to my question. I wanted to put matted black racing stripes on it, so it will be glossy black car with matted black racing stripes. I was wondering if anyone on here has done this and if i can see some pictures to know how it looks. If you guys could help me that would be awesome.

There are peolpe on here with the blk/blk combo. I think it looks good.

I personally don't like them. There are way better combos i would rather have. On a black car I would have yellow, red, or even white over black.... A little off topic but I would be very excited to see a black Roush stage 3 with all of the decals and stripes painted on in screaming yellow with 20" chrome Foose Nitrous wheels on it. That would look so bad ***...

 

[:'(]lol! different strokes, I guess. matte black on black is for guys (like me) whoare more intosubtlety,andcan't deal with the screaming loud (HEY LOOK AT ME) look. that's why I got rid ofmy cars original silver stripesand did my own thing...

 

Personally I think black mustangs with matte black stripes look great. Originally I didn't know what I would think of the combo until I saw pics. of one but I really like it.

 

I guess some cars it works on, as I do like that Shelby.... lol
