I bought the smoked tail light covers from American Muscle. They look awesome......just wish they fit worth a crap! They pop loose whenever the trunk is opened or closed....especially the left one. Who was the brainiac that thought a little rubber lip and a rectangle of velcro would hold these things on???? I am so sick of cheaply engineered aftermarket parts!!!! [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

I've heard people say to put some velcro at the bottom, but that won't keep my trunklid from scraping against it on the sides like it is.

I guess I'll have to learn how to do tinting if I want them smoked.

or take your taillights to a bodyshop and spray them!

I don't want them sprayed because that's permanent. If a cop decides to be a turd about them, I could easily remove the covers or peel tint.

btw.. i used VHT night shades on mine.. havnt gottena ticket (knock on wood PLEASEEE!!) and its been about 6 - 8 months.. maybe longer.. so i wouldnt be tooo worried.. plus, you can always pick up a set for dirt cheap.. i would htink.. (junk yard, used parts, classifieds.. etc.).. i dunno though.. could be wrong.. but hope this helps!

I pulled off the rubber molding they put on the bottom lip. Unless I figure a good way to use these, I guess they will end up in my crap mod pile.

Maybe I can figure out some way to attach it with screws and align it so it doesn't scrape against my trunklid.

Well, I've already wasted $60 on these things, so I should try to make them work before I give up on them. I just get sick of "having to make parts work".

yea mine fit like crap to. I was happy to get rid of them....but they do look good.

I cant wait to get some type of new tinting on my tail lights, those covers are the biggest pieces of junk.

wow.. im suprised how many ppl are upset with them..

i had them for about 6 days.. LOL.. the left one freakin flew the hell off in a drive trhough car wash.. then got ran over.. so i was like.. man fck that!
