I think the F-150 would have had a better chance had it not been a 1 wheel wonder...not saying it would win though.

That means nothing. I have a Richmond Powertrax locker in my lowly dodge ram 1500 5.9L and could probably pull that Tundra around the parking lot.

check out the vids here:

I have heard thenew Tundrascan run though. there's some guy posting vids of him beating LS1's and such on utube with one. he swears the vids aren't doctored or fake...

13.5 for average stock GT. You also have to take account that slower cars will have an average 1/4 mile time closer to their best 1/4 time. A stock GT has hit 13.2. It's far easier to screw up a run with a faster car (i.e. spinning) than it is with a slower car. An extreme case of this would be the quarter mile time for a minivan. A mag time for the 1/4 of a minivan will prob have no room for improvement since you really can't spin or screw up the run. More power to weight, more chance of spinning and not getting the perfect run.

Agreed. Most of those big trucks only have to hold the brake down to ~1500 rpm then release and go. Hard to screw up a run!

Ya funny thing when I went to buy my car. We're taking the test drive and I'm wringing it out, the salesman is looking at me like "aren't you really WOWED by this cars performance??".

I was like yeah it's alright. However I knew what would become with the immense aftermarket of parts for this thing.

It seemed really weak on the test drive. Whole new animal now...

I can only imagine what will become with FI and/or N2O. Can't wait!
