My quickest NA was 14.6 at 92; I was running usually around 14.8 before the juice. Second pass yesterday hit 13.939 at 99.02. Conditions weren't great, very slick so spun the DR's even (especially once the nitrous hit).

Sorry for the small hijack of your thread.
Wow 1.7 secs knocked off, what shot are you running?

Very nice job on the install. I want one.

JimC - what kind of times did you run? Maybe a before spray and after spray, and what shot were you running?

What shot are you running 75?
I am using a 75 shot and I have the 4.0 V6. A friend is using a 100 shot on his GT or maybe even a 125 now and seems to be safe so far.

Are you spraying on your launch?

my times usually range between 13.4 and 13.5 without the nitrous and drag radials on my nitto 555's.. first time out on my drag's i ran a 13.7??? need to figure out the launch. after that my passes were 13.0 and 12.9 with my 100 shot. i shaved .8 seconds off my time with the dynotune 100 shot and vmp mail tune.. i should have been at around 13.0 without even hitting the nitrous but i'll work on that this coming friday at the track again.

i use the button and control all of my sprays... i start spraying in 2nd gear since 1st gear is pretty much non-existing with my 4.10's. hopefully this next time out i can hit 12.5 or faster.... i'm about to place my order on a rear seat delete kit and the SOS panels. hoping for the best this coming friday.

any ideas on where i should or could mount my dual purge??? i REALLY want to get this installed tomorrow or tuesday before the track and couple of car shows we're doing this next weekend...

What are your 60 ft times and what the ending MPH? How tall are your slicks vs your drag radials? With the slicks you may need to spray from launch, with the drag radials they may be spinning enough off the line to get the car in the power band, if the slicks are really hooking they actually may be bogging down the motor and hurting your times. I've always used a window switch and launched on Nitrous.

my best 60' with the m and h drag radials (275/50/17) was a 2.0. i have an auto and can only launch at about 2100 rpms. my best et was 12.9 @ 112mph. once the car hits second and gets traction it really gets going.

Didn't realize you were an auto. The MPHs should put you in the mid 12s it's the 60fts that are hurting you. If you can get your 60ft down to 1.8 you'll be running below 12.5 or lower. Do you have window switch? You can still launch on nitrous, just set it above 3,000.

mikey - I would mount a purge out of each of your heat extractor openings (mount onto the hood purging through the openings). that's what I'll probably do myself having two large extractor vents on each side.

I've got a lot of questions regarding nitrous and have gotten a lot of them answered but one other thing I was wondering... What happens if you over-rev or miss a shift while spraying. I'm guessing the window switch will immediately kill the spray and you wouldn't hurt anything, correct?

correct. if you miss a gear, the RPM's will wrap and if you have the window switch set around 6000, it will shut off before you hit the rev limiter. thats what i did...spraying from 2nd gear at 2500RPM's and shutting off every gear at 6000RPM's.
