How do you make your MGW shifter ball straight?
I know this is probably a silly question but my MGW shifter ball will not tighten up when its straight (so that the MGW logo is where I would like it to face). I can get it straight but then its loose. Please help!!

Does it come with a jam nut? If so, turn the **** just a bit farther than you want it, tighten up the jam nut, then hold the jam nut and turn the **** back.

on the MGW all you have to do is take the shifterboot off, then loosen the 2 screws that hold the shaft in place, rotate to where the ball is straight, retighten, and install boot. Just make sure your **** is tight first. or use a jam nut, that's what i have to hold my Roush shift ball on my MGW

The MGW has allen screws that you use to tighten the shifter around the shift arm. First, tighten the allen screws as hard as you can, then, tighten the shift ball as hard as you can. When it's nice and tight, loosen the allen screws, put the shift ball where you want it, and then tighten the screws again.
