When you get the car back, and if there is gear wine. GO BACK RIGHT AWAY. Don't even drive 10 miles. Make a U turn as quick as posible and get back there. There should be NO gear wine. If there is the install was done wrong.

It is recommended that you break the gears in. I heard you should wait atleast 200 miles??? But like said above, if you have gear whine, take it back right away. I believe a friend told me they might can redo it if the new gears havnt set in wrong. About the dealership thing...everyone makes mistakes...i know it sucks when this kind of things happen. I had the dealership order a hood scoop for me and when they put it on there was a scratch on it. They charged me less for the mistake and put another scoop on.

Gotta love the dealership shaft, it's almost a rite of passage! If I could count the number of times I've been grabbing my ankles at the dealership... [sm=icon_quiet.gif]

the diff cost 200, parts 180 install around 320 they said. so ill get the final prices tomorrow
Thanks I appreciate it. I am looking for shops around town to do my t-lok and 4.10's so that saves me a trip to the dealership. Good luck with the gears too. I have heard that anywhere from 300-500 miles is a good break in but for me around 200 I would start to get on it a little....no big time clutch dumps until I'm confident there broken in. Also, if you hear the slightest whine make them replace it. You will thank yourself in the long run.

$4000, they are replacing the roof, hood, PDRing the fenders, trunk, pillers and blending the paint where needed. On the plus side they are going to be paint matching my mirrors for free.
Sorry to hear that! You had some serious damage!
