I dont have any pics of Black Chrome wheels but I used to have a set of TSW wheels on my Eclipe i used to own. Im not really sure if all companies make them the same way but I was told it is more of a painted on finish. They look like chrome kinda just not as bright of flashy if that makes sense. When I first got them they looked really good. I only had them on my car for about a year, and they never seen snow. The chrome finish started coming off and left a real dull look to them like they was dirty all the time. Just from personal experience I would not recommend them but maybe I just had a bad set. Dont know of anyone else that had problems with Black chrome wheels.

I'm thinking of taking off all my bling (chrome accents) throwing on some black chrome rims but I'm not sure what it will look like with my red stripes...what do you think?

I think that color wheel looks awesome, unfortunately not enough companies produce them, and if they do it only seems to be in 20" or not for the s197 or I just don't like them. Here are 2 I found on AM just for reference purposes, they call it hypercoat, but I believe it's the same thing.

yea idk if i would do it on your car, or really any car to me honest, cant really think of anything they would look good on or that reg chrome or plain black wouldnt look better on...but about the dulling, im sure if you polished them with black chrome polish once a month they would be fine, and no hypercoat is not the same thing...the picture above is a perfect example of them
