Crack the window if you put the cover on it, this will keep condensation from building up inside you car.

Just drive it up to Amsterdam, NY.

I'll put it in the garage and take it out once a week to keep everything working properly. Free of charge! [8D]

Screw that! You don't want your Texas car in the frigid cold of NY. [] I'm in San Diego, so drive it over to California when you go to Coronado, and when you get deployed, I'll babysit it for you. [8D]

Hey, I'm willing to make the sacrifice for my country, since im in SA, I'll take care of her for you, I'll just take her out for a "ride around the block" once a week. I promise!

I went away for three months and had someone just start my car up and drive it around once a week and had no problems when I came back.

I don't have anything else to add except godspeed and thank you for your service!

LOL... I told my wife that I want to refrain from using "she" and "her" when referring to my car. Ultimately (once the SC is on), this car will have some serious *****, so it doesn't seem right to call it a "she".

Scottsat,

Here is THE BEST battery tender you can get. I have 4 of these and have been using them for 8 years. This is THE BEST place to buy them. They have THE BEST price. $33.95 plus s&h. They normally sell for around $60.00 at places like Harley-Davidson, SummitRacing, Jegs etc. I have 2 Streetrods and 2 motorcycles that I have them connected to ALL of the time. It comes with the usual alligator clips and a quick disconnect.

http://www.accwhse.com/batteryt.htm

I would recommend getting one of these and install the quick disconnect to the battery in the Mustang. This way your wife can SIMPLY unplug the Quick disconnect and drive it if she likes. When she returns she can SIMPLY reconnect the Quick disconnect and it starts charging. It is a NO BRAINER. You don't need to know anything about the positive/negative, red to red, black to black, stuff that confuses many of our wifes and girlfriends.

You can leave this particular Battery Tender connected forever.

The part number you're looking for is #01991 for $33.95 plus s&h.
