Just wondering if anyone added racing seats to their Mustang, and if so what brackets did you have to get to make it bolt up? Also what did you do with the airbag sensors from the factory seats, just leave them disconnected and live with the airbag sensor warning light ON in the cluster? Or is their a way to disable the warning?

 

Switched to racing seats significant weight reduction and accommodate the racing harness. Did not do install, so cannot answer airbag questions.

 

I know that corbeau has brackets for our model now, but i guess only their seats will bolt up to them. MRT has sparco seats in one of their show cars that are bolted into the stock seat brackets.

 

Forensicsteve, does your airbag warning light come on? Cause I don't think those seats would have the airbag sensors in them like the factory ones do, but I could be wrong.

how much did swapping to racing seats run you?

 

Can't find receipt. Bought from Jegs (GS-1 model). Around $500 for the pair. Certainly there are better and more expensive racing seats out there, but these work just fine.
