Default Driveshaft Vibration

Well, a bit of a long story. Had a vibration in 2nd & 4th gears on the manual tranny at 2,500 miles. Took it back to the Steelership and they said it needed a new flywheel.... I say go ahead it is under warrenty. Waited 3 weeks before they got one! Ever since I got it back I have had a driveshaft vibration like a U joint was going bad... I have driven maybe 200 miles since they put the flywheel in and it was driving me crazy. I hated to take it back again so. Today I put it up on jackstands and yes I am a "pumpkin jacker"! I was checking for lose bolts etc. Well I noticed that they didn't index the driveshaft the same as it was when new, (Tranny side). You could see very clearly that the driveshaft was in a different position than before. There are 2 sets of holes in the front mounting plate. I took the bolts out turned the driveshaft 1/4 turn to the old position and volia the vibration is gone!!!! Was I happy driving this aftenoon! I thought that this might help others that had a vibration like this. It is worth a try. Only took about 15 minutes to do.
