Failed Emissions - "Readiness" ???
Just had my car emissions inspected and failed for "readiness." The tech said that these types of failures are generally due to a recent battery change/reconnect and the computer needs to reset itself. They said drive the car for about 50 miles and have it retested.
The battery has not been disconnected in several months and I have not reset the tune in quite a while - probably several months. I've probably put several thousand miles on the car since both. The car is also not throwing any codes and never has.
I'm running a brenspeed tune and I am considering changing back to the stock air box and stock tune, then have the car retested.
The only other non-stock items on the car that could be related is the COP's, but these have been on the car since the last battery reset / tune refresh. All other mod's are in my sig.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Did going back to the stock tune work?

So did I read right that you did not reflash to the stock programming before you went in? If you did there will bea P1000 code which cannot be cleared until there are a certain number of drive cycles.

Ok - Brenspeed says they need to send me a revised tune cause their tune turns off the O2 sensors. Probably just going to flip it back to stock because I'd like to be able to run an OR-H/X.
