but, i don't see the instructions for the SCT tuner and it came too late to call Brenspeed to ask for assistance. It says it's supposed to come with instructions but i've looked everywhere and don't see them. Help guys. What do i do???? How do i operate this tuner?

 

Go on the SCT site. Or, plug the tuner in under the driver's side dash beneath the steering wheel,, you'll see the port. Plug it in, put the key in the ignition, but do not start the engine or move the key. It should say on the tuner "press SEL to begin", select custom tune, then it will tell you to put the key in the on position. It will say "erasing module", it takes the stock tune in, then it will load the custom tune, and show a percentage as it uploads, the when its complete, it will tell you to press SEL, and turn key off, then unplug module. Its real easy, just follow what it tells you. Let me add this is for the SCT2 Xcalibrator, I don't know if the X3 is the same.

 

yeah, it was pretty much the same. pretty easy. now i'm just waiting to finish this 1/4 tank of 87 so i can refill with 93 and retune. thx
