Question Skipper500 replacements

If I want a modest upgrade over the skipper 500 what do I need? I would want to replace all of it amp, head unit, speakers but I'm not sure what I need or who has the best equipment these days. Ive been thinking alpine, pioneer, or kenwood, jbl Ive heard is good as well as inifnity. Any help is appreciated I'm not up on all the car audio of today.

Get the Kenwood DNX5120. Great price and does alot. Looks great and the NAV is built in. No dvd need so you can always have a music cd or dvd in there. Will wok w/ existing speakers and subs or u can change out. Id try it with existing setup 1st then change out if needed.
