Default $2K in mods-pull the trigger?

I have a 07 stage1 Roush(manual w/ Roush short throw), which is basically, exterior and interior mods right now. I'm looking to set myself up for a S/C later on down the line. Right now I'm considering pulling the trigger on..

CAI/XCal3 tuner
LT headers
H-midpipe(have Roush axle back I'm keeping)
3.73 gears
LCA's
UCA

I know I can try and save the money now for the S/C but you guys don't know my wife and daughters, they'll burn right through that, so I figure on setting myself up for now. During the fall/winter I'll be shopping for drag radials and maybe upgrading the clutch as well.

Any opinions? What are your thoughts?

Most noticeable upgrade for now other than F/I is going to be intake, tune, LT's and mid-pipe. I say go for it. Oh, and throwing those gears in would help a lot, too. But then again once you get the s/c you'll lose your intake, and have to retune. If you can save up by christmas, i'd day wait and get the s/c. If it's going to be an option a ways down the road, then get those mods.

Go for it if you can afford it!

Why don't you just set up a savings account they can't touch? Just keep it on the down low.

If you're going s/c in the future then I'd say get the exhaust, tune, 3.73s, 1-piece driveshaft, LCA and adj. UCA, lowering springs, and panhard bar? Will be about roughly $500 more, but it saves you from making a mod that will have to be replaced later on in the future

+1 on the secret bank account.

If your wife finds out just tell her you were going to use it on hookers and drugs.

Well, I plan on doing some other mods through the winter here....springs, shocks, struts, wheels/drag radials, 1pc DS, clutch...but the money I'm looking to burn right now is from a nice little bonus my wife just recieved, so she's giving me this fund to play with. The S/C will go on when I get next years tax return.

My wife already knows I don't pay for hookers and drugs already so I'm screwed there, lol

I see no reason why not to do the mods you want now.. Sure, a CAI and tune would be removed with supercharger, but you can always sell them for almost what you bought them for.. there are tons of people looking to buy for a little less than new.

CAI and tune will get you more power and most noticeable difference of any bolt on mod, and combined with the gears is a BIG change. I assume you have an automatic if you are looking at 3.73? If manual I would do 4.10.

4.10's even if I intend to go FI? I've been told to go 3.55 or 3.73. 4.10's I would no doubt need to upgrade my clutch right?

4.10s wouldn't affect your clutch wearing out unless it just makes you go WOT more often 3.73s for FI are the steepest I'd go if I was you...that's as high as I'm going
