Thumbs down Leather Door Insert Peeling Back?

I live in Florida and drive a black car that has no where to park but under the sun. I use a windshield sun blocker and attempt to find little shade when possible.

Just a few days ago the leather insert on the passenger side door peeled back and I had to use a boat load of 3M spray glue to get it to stick. However, on any extra hot day (any day in Florida) the glue will not stick and I have to redo the entire process.

An upholstery shop told me $200 and I laughed. The thing is, cars these days are made so quickly and cheap that fabric on the doors don't wrap around, it's just glued and stamped on.

Is there a better way to fix this? Have any of you experienced this yet?

You might have to try a different kind of glue. I would go to the hardware store and see if they have something that bonds leather/plastic materials. You will probley have to prop something up against it until it dries so it stays together but if you get some sort of heavy duty glue I would think it would hold. Good luck.

JoshyGT,
I originally sent you a pm on this and thoughtI needed to respond here to try and open the subject up again because my initial thought was way off. I am having the exact same problem with my panels.
The passenger side is completely peeled back and the driver side is soon to follow. It is a problem with the adhesive used at the factory not holding and mosytlikely due to the Florida heat. At this point I will be investigating what type of adhesive to use. My first thought would be a spray but this would cause me to mask a lot. I will be looking for something I can apply on with a brush.

I think I may have to peel it all off, brush off all the deterorating rubber and use a 3m spray to put it back on. after that, tuck some door trim in between the crevis.
