I haven't had a problem with the rain at all since I installed these. They work great.

Once you install them, the adhesive tape will leave a residue on the
black trim if they are ever removed because of damage or whatever reason.
Once you decide to take the leap and install them, there is no going back
without remnants of them being there at one time.
I like the looks in the pic on a grabber orange stang.

This bellowing effect that you speak of may just be pressure differential when you have one window cracked open. I bet if you crack the other one this would go away. This occurs in most cars. You just have to find the right speed range and window opening to make it happen.

They dont attach to the trim, they attach to the paint right above it, so it would be easy to take them off and clean the glue from the double sided tape.

I think that they should work just as well on our cars as they do on our trucks but I am not real crazy about the look of them. I smoke and have a black car but I don't think that I will be adding them to mine. I have learned that there is always going to be someone who wants to trash you for your post but you need to know that there are some great guys on this forum that are very willing to help with whatever question or problem you might have.

I had the ventshades on my Explorer and never smoked in it. Not sure it's fair to assume only smokers would want those. For those of us in really hot places, it's nice to leave our windows cracked...Especially when it's hot AND it rains all the time (i.e. Florida). Personally, if they wouldn't look so awkward, I'd love to have some on my car now.

Probably some GOO GONE would remove the residue.

Are you sure they attach to the paint? The ones I bought from Ford they attach to the black plastic trim that the window top rolls up into, not the paint. I've never seen any that attach to the paint.
