Default Calling my polished 18 guys

Just wanted to let you know about the results I had today.

I took Eagle one "never dull" (kind of like a steel wool of sorts but made out cotton/paper)
and then buffed the wheel with a cloth...was a bit worried at first b/c they were kind of cloudy.

Then I took my Meguires quick wax and sprayed it on the rims and let it set for a moment and buffed with a paper towel.

Wow...these babies are shinny!

I say dont use the the terri cloth on the first buff...go with a paper towel.

I learned long ago that when polishing up aluminum moldings or appliances it's best to use a paper towel because it really makes it shine.

Default Hey

Sorry no pics no camera, no scratches here...and I am not sure if they are clear coated or not...maybe?

When use the Eagle one I put it on light...plus it doesn't have a coarse texture kind of glides across the surface...real oily.

Just an addition to the thread, I use the quick wax on the side mirrors and the big piece of plastic under the wipers....looks great real dark again just buffed it...did the job.

I thought all of the polished 18's were clear-coated? I know mine are!
