got some overlays from ebay. comes w/ 2 tail lites and the 3rd brake light tint, either 35% or 20%. get the 20 bc the 35 is too light. they also got the headlight, foglight corner lites too. i had to get the rear corners from moss mustang.

i had the covers, but over time they scratch the bumper and move around some, so i would really suggest you get the tint overlays. they arent as dark as the covers, but they wont scratch your paint like the covers. the whole set is only $18 for either the front or back.
hmmm....
at one point in time, i was in this same position...
i had the gts blackout covers and needed a third brake light blackout....
for the third brakelight, i neded up using a section of window tint for it...DO NOT USE WINDOW TINT...after it was over and done with, it looked like pure crap and the blackout covers against my white body made my lights look too bulky...
i eventually just had my rear lights and third brake light painted and cleared and it is absolutely perfect...the paintwork cost me $50....
the taillight covers dont fit as they should...they just simply hang over the light and dont seat into the light per say...the covers i had cut into my bumper as well now i have to use some touch up paint for correct it...also, when i closed my trunk, it would hit against the top of the covers....
if you went with the vinyl blackout overlays, make sure you get it exactly perfect or it will look like crap with air bubbles or whatnot...
also the areas on the light where there is embosed print in the plastic, you will need to sand that down or you will have air bubbles all around that area...
if you still want to go with the vinyl overlay, just go on ebay and search for "mustang smoked" or "mustang blackout" and look for what you need....msot of them are sold in sets, but just ask all the sellers via email if they will sell you a 3rd light piece by itself...not all of them will but some of them are willing do to so....i believe itll be around $5 plus shipping...
here are my painted lights...

There is also a guy on eBay that is selling painted tint on factory taillights, and he will buy back your factory lights, so in the end it does not cost that much. He sands them down, paints them, and then clears them. They look pretty good. I think he evens does the third brake light.
The thing i like about the covers is, i can take them off whenever i feel like it... etc. I'm just going for a change. I added a black cdc chin and i put on some tail light covers from my buddies car and i liked it
