Default Tire talk

So I was thinking the other day how nice it would be to get new rims/tires for the stang.....however $$ is tight and spending $1000+ on a car thats not paid for yet is silly to me......however the one loophole in this logic that makes me feel better is the fact that my tires will eventually begin to deteriorate/dry rot. The tires (stock P's 235's) were made in Feb. of 2006.....so they are 2.5 years old..... tires "expire" after around 5 to 6 years am I correct? So even though this is a while Im looking at my perfect sizes......I know I want 18x9 bullitts in the front with 18x10 DD in the rear.....I know I want 255's in front with 295's in the rear...Im just unsure of the sidewall height. I hate when there is alot of rubber on the sidewall and they look like cement truck tires so I was looking at 35 for the sidewalls? How does this sound to you guys.....It will eventually be lowered with BMR springs if that calms any concerns of spacing between the tires and the car. Thoughts/opinions?
