X or H Pipe
#41
I said there WAS a diffrence. Just not Huge. Yes the borla and Mac WERE louder than the flows, I just personally didn't feel it was a gigantic diffrence. I also stated I think the baffles could be screwed up in my mufflers because my flows seem alot louder than everyone else say they are. As far as the X and H, you seem to know what you're talking about so, ok the H is quieter than the X with the same setup. But considering how loud the O/R X was on my car, the H still can't be at a level I consider not much louder than the stock one

X Pipes will give you a higher pitched sound. They will also give you more Horsepower.
H Pipes will give you a deeper/louder sound. They will also give you more Torque.
Yes, the X pipe design is more efficient. However, in now way will getting an H pipe hurt the motor. If you want a really deep muscle car sound get an H. I love my Mac Prochamber and Roush mix up. It is louder than most cars that have LT's or Shorty's W/Mid-pipe and CAt-back. H-pipes rule IMO.
However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the sound with X-pipes. Good luck in your decision.
