thanks guys for all the advice. still going to let ford check fuel pump. just tell them that after you drive for awhile that it doesnt want to take off. probably will just test it anyway and see what the reading is. see how that goes. thanks again

That's a separate issue. There's a TSB on the fuel pump problem.

Your gas mileage is normal. That's what it should be read your f'n window sticker. Just be happy you don't drive like a pu$$y like the other people. Also you tards are resetting your mpg every 30 seconds thats not even accurate, what matters is your average mpg for a tank not for 1 minute.

yeah i know the fuel pump is a seperate issue. know how to get ford to replace it to. just have to know what the tsb says when your telling the advisor what is wrong. i work at a dealer so all should be good when it comes to getting them to fix it. w/out them even driving driving the car, would have to do it for at least an hour.
and yes i did read the f* window sticker. 15-25. so i know its not bad. and yes i am very glad i dont drive like a *****. i love driving my baby in the triple digits. see them at least once a day.
and white 07 i got 3.55 and am thinking about going 4.10's but my baby gets me to a lot of widespread panic shows throughout the southeast. so a lot of road trips. not sure i could sacrifice going 70 all the time.

thanks again for all the comments. let you know what ford does when i take it to them hopefully tomorrow. have to take off intake and re-tune tonight.

Exactly. Tell them the symptoms from the tsb & they cant refuse you. Do you actually think they will drive your car an hour on the highway to replicate the issue? Im sure working there helps alot too!

Before these tires I was getting 35 mph hwy @55-60 mph. Oh well, I guess I had to sacrifice comfort for fuel economy.

eeek, comfortreds on a Mustang

Makes sense, Just got back from a 300+ trip and avg 23 about 75mpg, 3.55's w/ the a/c on all the time. And the jackrabbit starts from the rest area and toll booth, otherwise, mostly cruise control.
