Default Techron

I picked up 2 bottles of Techron Fuel System Cleaner. Each bottle says treats up to 12 gallons.

Is anyone putting 1 1/2 bottles in and then filling up? I've used other fuel system cleaners before but each of those bottles treated up to 18 gallons or more.

I always buy the larger (20 oz.) bottle, treats up to 20 gal. You could buy another 12 oz bottle and use 1 1/2 bottles two different times.

Hmmm... Only saw the 12 oz. bottle at WallyWorld. That's probably what I'll do then.

Cool DAT FLI DAT ERR

My fuel gauge started going from full to empty and back. The error code listed above was in my display. My dealer said Ford has a bulletin out on this and recommends Techron and Chevron gas as a fix. They gave me a bottle and so far, no more code.
