Rearview Mirrors Painted...
I have seen lots of mustangs on the internet with the side view mirrors painted. does anyone know where to get this done and how much it costs and how long it takes??? i think it looks great.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say......get it done at a paint & body shop. Cost would be determined by that shop's labor rate and how many hours they felt it necessary. Seriously, that would be kind of tough for anyone to answer other than saying "it should cost ya X ammount or so". It is strictly going to be up to the shop you go to. Also going to depend on whether or not you take the whole car in or take the mirrors off and just take the mirrors in.

I'm going to try painting them myself (Yea - I'm brave!)
I ordered the paint from http://www.etouchup.com/store/agora.cgi?p_id=10035
I had recently ordered paint from these guys to repair the kick panel on my BMW that got messed up clipping the curb at the ATM Machine and it was a PERFECT Match.
It really wasn't too hard... Prime, let dry... wet sand with super fine sand paper... let dry... paint color... wait... paint... wait... paint (depending on how many coats you want)... let dry... then hit it a few times with the clear coat.
I'm glad JRodmaster posted that pic, as I was wondering what the mirror would look like painted.
