which gas ??
Higher octane from the pump will not do ANY damage to your car. After all the manual says MINIMUM octane rating, nothing about MAXIMUM
But you will be wasting your money. (Its like paying for extra channels on cable when you do not watch them...) But I think that buying from a reputable gas station might make a difference.

why does ford recomend bp, if it'snot even on the list!!
aside from financial reasons, is bp a "bad" gasoline.....the bp's around here have this "invigorate"(or something like that)....just like shell has v power? what's the deal, fellas?
Right, unless you are tuned for the higher octane you are just throwing money away -- and at today's gas prices why toss away good funds. It has been tested many times and there is no benefit on a car designed to run on 87 octane.
