Help with door
My car is only 3 months old. I live at home while at college there for my car is parked in my driveway. I paid for this car my self therefore i am very protective of it.
Heres the problem:
i have a black car, i have a narrow driveway with bushes on my left.
These bushes are incredibly annoying on day i noticed a while line going down the side of my door.
it was right about where a branch from the bush would be. And sometimes my car is moved by my family members because we have 3 cars in the driveway. so i think someone opened my door with out being careful and opened it till it hit a branch. I thought it was bird %^&* for a while but after it rained the next day and some thumb rubbing my fears i think have been correct.
1. Since it is white does that mean its down to the primer or?
2. how do i fix it its 3 inches and it sticks out like a sore thumb?
3. Touch up paint or have it done by a professional?
Please help im a college student who works for everything he has and doesnt have mommy and daddy to throw him money to fix this
thanks all

From the sound of it it is down to the primer. Black cars are really easy to scrath up ( hence I'll never ever own a black car again )
I would definetally take care of it and I would go to a shop to get it fixed.
You could touch it up, but it's something cosmetic that will look good from a distance.
Knowing my self, when I wash my car the little dent I have on my driver side front fender flare, kicks me right in the sack everytime I look at it.
I think you could have it fixed for no more than $ 100
btw, post a pic if you can so we can get a better idea of the damage

I understand your pain, Just got my first rock chip in the hood, I have the whole front filmed and the rock missed it by a foot and chunked out some paint. Took it in and the shop fixed it very well. BUT I WOULDNT EVER CONSIDER another color for my GT, BLACK is it!
