a few months ago i saw an old *** corolla with the tribar badge on the fender. i was totally stoned and could not believe whati just saw. there was a kid sitting in the car and i couldn't help but yell out "hey, nice mustang"
i feel bad about that now but at that time it was the funniest thing ever

The best thing about car mods is there will always be people like this to laugh at.
One of the best examples of this I have ever seen was about 15 years ago, I was in the car audio business. This kid brings in a Fiero with the testarossa ferrari body kit (looked like it was painted with a rattle can) and starts asking about a stereo for it.. I asked what kind of car he had (knowing at first glance it was a fiero with an ugly body kit) and he says "its a Ferrari". I looked outside and said "that one? thats a fiero", and he says "no, its a Ferrari". The kid was totally serious and really thought that he had a Ferrari. So I walked out to the car, looked inside, said "yep, delco deck and 4x10's in the dash, its a fiero". As we walked back in to the store he is still trying to tell me its a Ferrari. I sold him some replacement 4x10 dash speakers and a deck with a GM dash kit, harness, and antenna adapter and let him go on his way. To this day I get a good laugh out of it.
