Working on yet another custom rear medallion
First I had the factory badge, but I hated the chrome look

I switched to the snake badge, but didn’t like having to always answer questions if it was a Shelby or not.

Then I did SHR medallion with a ’68 GT badge. It looks really nice, but looks aftermarket.

I decided I wanted something that looks like it would have come from the factory. So here is what I am planning (mockup pictures). Until I can have one custom CNC machined (yes I am working on this too), this will have to do.

The painted ones are cool, but I'm looking to create something that looks like it could have come from Ford.
I agree the font is funky. It is '68 Mustang gas cap emblem. If I don't like it, I'll find something else, I just need to find something I like for the center of the cap.
Here is one that Ford made for the P51, which gave me the idea to go this way:
