Default Working on yet another custom rear medallion

First I had the factory badge, but I hated the chrome look

I switched to the snake badge, but didn’t like having to always answer questions if it was a Shelby or not.

Then I did SHR medallion with a ’68 GT badge. It looks really nice, but looks aftermarket.

I decided I wanted something that looks like it would have come from the factory. So here is what I am planning (mockup pictures). Until I can have one custom CNC machined (yes I am working on this too), this will have to do.

Nice but Kind of looks like you might be a Georgia Tech fan.

I don't think there will be much confusion in Michigan (I could be wrong).

Georgia Tech emblem:

I like the idea....

but the font is off to me. I would find something else but if you like it that's all that matters.

The "G" does remind me of Georgia though.

What are you going to do with your snake gas cap?

The painted ones are cool, but I'm looking to create something that looks like it could have come from Ford.

I agree the font is funky. It is '68 Mustang gas cap emblem. If I don't like it, I'll find something else, I just need to find something I like for the center of the cap.

Here is one that Ford made for the P51, which gave me the idea to go this way:
