Default Autometer dash mounted gauge pod

I am looking for info on installing one of the 3 gauge dash mounted gauge pods in my 06 GT. It is the one that sits right in the middle of the dash above the center vents.

How does it attach and how do you run the wires for the guages? I am hoping that you don't need to drill or cut a hole in the dash pad.

Thanks
Brian

http://www.autometer.com/productPDF/1226.pdf

you can run the wires down the air vents at the back , or drill holes

ripping apart the dash can be a PITA

It has a plate with an attachment bolt that uses double sided tape for the front and the rear clips in the defrost vents. You can run the wires thru the defroster vent.

Thanks for the info. I already had two Roush vent pods installed in the center air vents, so I went with another one of those. I didn't like the idea of drilling into the dash pad and didn't think the 3M double sided tape would hold up to the Florida summer heat.

Thanks again.
