Im a stupid retarded idiot....
So I just finished putting my gagues and shift light in and all I had left to do was to put the fender liner in. So I got this new jack that really doesnt fit under the car well, and proceed to jack the car up using just the lip of the lower control arm. Well long story short, I had the jack stand underneath the steering arms and I just needed to pump the jack one last time for the jack stand to fit underneath the lower control arm. I pump it and guess what happeneds!?!?! Car falls off jack. Car lands on the jack stand right on the steering arms. Bent the sh** out of the steering arm. So I cant even drive the car as that bent the steering arm soooo bad.
So I guess I need and whole freaking rack and pinion. I am so pissed at myself for being a stupid idiot, I dont even deserve to have such a nice car.....

Just replace the bent tie rod end.
And jack her here next time. (see pic)
I took the platten off of my floor jack and made
an aluminum pad that has a stub that fits into
the floor jack where the platten used to be
and it has a stub on the top that fits into the
1 1/2" hole on the below pictured sub fame element.
No slippin for me.

my friend was jacking up one of thsoe new cougars for his friend and it slipped and fell right on the oil pan..........his driveway still shows this.
it was such a mess. we were supposed to go to the movies but all he could say was "oh **** oh **** oh ****" the girl who's car it was was present and she almost cried. then he said "i think you guys better leave" so we left. it was kinda funny...

Here is a random picture I found on the internet where it points out exactly what I bent. What is it, and how expensive do you all think it will be to fix. (parts and then labor if I choose to get it done at a shop)
