Default Break dust!!

My god... I spent 30 minutes outside with Simple-Green trying, relentlessly to get rid of the god damn break dust... It didnt come out so I spent the majority of my time with an old toothbrush and sock scrubbing away... After 30 minutes- 1 wheel done. Yes, it's the front wheel. Yes, it's perfectly done. By the other 3 are going to have to wait. It tires me out...
I guess thats a good reason to not let this **** cake on there for 6 months at a time... anyone else have the problem?

I clean my wheels at least 2-3 times per week. You must have been letting that stuff build up for a LONG time if your having that much of a problem trying to get it off.

Try Mother's Mag/Aluminum polish with a Terry Cloth.. then after its done, rewipe it with a soft cloth.. it helps.. Terry cloth is the key there..

I think the key there is to clean them atleast once every week or two.. not 6 months... no free time in 6 months??

The GT500 makes more brake dust than the GT ever did! I clean off it every week!

I let mine cake on for a good while, came off with dawn and water. Lots of dawn and some water, just used an old boot polishing brush. I didnt really put that much effort into it either.
