I know about the new flywheel...BUT you don't need a new clutch according to Spec, just a flywheel. They said I'd just need a new flywheel...

it would be pointless to just replace the flywheel and not the clutch if you are already paying the labor for the flywheel. Not to mention, the stock clutch will break pretty fast above 500rwhp.

just my .02

Ha this whole project is gonna turn out great...aslong as my wallet doesn't have holes shot in it haha or even burnt. I want to do the install myself, but kind of worried about the whole install tools and time down lol

Yea downtime was my biggest problem, with work and school i had hardly any time left over to install mine myself. I just ended up having to pay someone to do it or my car probably would have been garaged for quite a long time.

ya if it wasn't for college lol I'd be all over it cuz I just don't have time. What does everyone think about install cost though...$3000 or cheaper? I was thinking I could put on the 60# injectors and harnesses...and prolly a 14psi pulley to save on labor and then trailer the car somewhere for them to do the flywheel/298 install/dyno tune?

imo i think 3000 is alittle high but i have heard people charge that before, i guess just depends on the area. I know a couple shops here in houston that do it for around 2200.
