Default anyone using zex kit??

i have zex kit and i did as the instuctions said i press the reset button on the soilnoid or zmu and hold full throttle for 10 sec i think and soo on...

the problem is every time i power on my zex unit gas poures out of the solnoid when im idleing which causes my car to turn off and make it almost imposible to start.

i cant figure out how to make it work properly,

could it bee that the solnoid is retarded (faulty)?

Check your fittings - you shouldn't have gas coming out of the Zex NMU so it has to be a loose fitting somewhere. Did you use any thread sealer paste when you put things together? Is it leaking at the solenoid/NMU or at the fuel rail?

Sounds like a bad solenoid - I just saw a Zex NMU on Ebay this past weekend so you might check there.

try giving zex a call! 1-888-817-1008
did you use teflon tape? if you did you may have a piece stuck in the solenoid...

I don't know on the NMU and if they are car specific, check with tech support at Zex.

If you used the teflon tape anywhere else you should disassemble it and remove the tape. It can come loose and foul up your system easily. Use only the teflon paste.
