Talking Ordered Some New Accessories! Installed pics up! Page 2

Hey guys/gals. Just wanted to let you all know of my new purchases. I got the following from american muscle:

Black 4.6 Supercharged Emblems
Redline Tuning Quicklift Plus Mustang Hood Struts
8-inch Fixed Black Antenna

Nothing big, but I just get super happy when I buy my car some new toys. They should be here either wednesday or thursday. I'll post up pics and maybe a vid of the paxton once I get them all on.

Has anyone had any issues with the struts? I have searched for days trying to find the best ones for the money. I figured I would give these a shot. As for the emblems, they should be a nice addition.. I hope. And I finially had to get rid of that big whip up there. Haha

You should have looked in to the California Pony Car struts as they come color matched and look almost like stock, it doesn't seem these have gotten much press

Starfire, those struts are pretty cool! I have the MRT struts on both of our late models.

Cobra, congrats on your new purchases!! The hood struts and shorty are by far the top 2 mods everyone should do! Looking forward to pics after install.

I did look into those. I'm not really looking for a stock look under the hood. I like some color and different brand logos in there.

i have those struts. they are very good. the only thing is, the bottom bolt that the strut attaches too, rusted over.

Ah, thanks for the heads up. When they arrive I might just take the bolts over to Pep Boys and get some stainless steel ones. I defiently appreciate you letting me know!
