Default DSS racing Shortblock?

they make a 5.4 3v stroker kit and i was wondering if that is for the GT500 block or the S197 block...Im trying to build NA power so im trying to get the most cubes..the biggest cubes ive found so far is 322 so if you know any other kits your input is apprecciated.

I dont even know it you can get that much Stroke out of a Stock S197 Stock block unless you bore it, but it seems as if they have bored it out. If it was a Shelby Block then it just be a 5.4 with a Regular stroke

I would give them a call and get some more detailed information. Most reccomend not to go over 298ci due to the knock sensors in our engines. Check out Livernois motorsports 298 stroker. It is a tried and true stroker for our engines.

sorry for the double post but is the new ford racing boss 302 block for the s197 or is it just a stronger remake of the original 302?

well i know like saleen has the 302 stroker kit and if they do it im sure its somewhat safe...livernois has always been one of my main options but if i can get 322 cubes safely then i think i know what im going to go with.

and im fine with getting my block bored out or I may just buy one already bored.

I just installed the FORD RACING 5.0L ALUMINUM CYLINDER BLOCK M-6010-T50. Which is a Big Bore 4.6 - 3.7" bore with a 3.75" stroke - 322 cubic inches. All naturally aspirated. I have other modifications as well. I haven't done my final tune because the weather is to hot. Should be around 420 RWHP.
