im trying to take off the passenger airbag cover off so i can take the top of the dash off to get to some rattles. is it safe? will it deploy?

I had to take the driver side airbag assembly out one time. According to the manual, unplug the battery and wait a minimum of 10 minutes for it to completely discharge. I waited 30. Also, wear safety glasses. Better safe than sorry.

lol thanks for the help guys, yeah airbags suck, but i guess they do save lives...sometimes..
