Hey FORD4Life,

Before you take it all apart (I hope I'm not too late)... Are you aware that there is a tsb about rattles behind the dash that originate from underneath the car? I have had several friends with this problem (including myself) and we all had slightly different reasons for the rattle.
Remember that sound & vibration travels. If you have done a exhaust mod then be sure to go back and re-tighten everything. Check for clearances of parts that nothing is touching or rubbing that should'nt be (clamps ect...).
The tsb talks about the trans mount sending vibration through the car causing a rattle behind the dash. In my case the clamp on my aftermarket muflers didn't have enough clearance and sent vibration all the way from the back of the car up to the dash.

Good Luck.
